Sri Ayyappa Polytechnic College is a Private un-aided institution, established in 1997 and operated under Sri Ayyappa Educational Trust. It is located in Aivadhugudi, Veppur (Tk), Cuddalore (Dt) near Koothakudi railway flyover on the National Highway NH45.
It is affiliated to Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Government of Tamil Nadu and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.
It offers courses in polytechnic with a focus on curricular and extra-curricular activities for overall development of students. The Department of Civil Engineering was established in the year 2009. The diploma in civil engineering approved by AICTE and Govt. of Tamilnadu. The Department has well experienced and qualified Faculty Members.
The Excellent infrastructure Facilities of the department propped in department developmental activities. The department has excellent laboratory facilities to meet the requirements of under graduate, post graduate, in Civil Engineering. The sanctioned intake of the department for the diploma level is 70.
The DIPLOMA IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING is a program focused on practical and skills-oriented to provide industry related engineering knowledge.
After successful completion of Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, students can either continue further Engineering studies in undergraduate level or get employment as technicians, technologists, supervisors, superintendents, foremen, machinist, workshop technicians, draughtsman, station technicians, automobile technicians, maintenance & service technicians, equipment mechanics and technicians, CAD/CAM programmer, instrument technicians, junior instructors, manufacturing, tool and die designers.
